City of Zug

Welcome to Zug, the global and lively small town in the heart of Switzerland with a passion for culture. It is home to 26’000 people from 120 nations. The city offers a great place to live and work close to the lakes and mountains.

Baar

Baar is the second largest community in the canton of Zug. Linking the cities of Zurich and Lucerne, Baar is considered to be the entrance to Central Switzerland. This key location, together with an excellent road and public transportation network, is of major economic significance.
These are not the only advantages Baar has to offer. With more than 24'500 inhabitants located in various neighbourhoods, Baar is also considered to be a very vibrant, active, socially aware and growing community.

Cham

Cham, beautifully situated along Lake Zug, is an attractive place to live and work. It preserves the open spaces by the lake and in the countryside, while simultaneously creating ideal conditions for living and working.
Cham undoubtedly has something to offer for everyone – beautiful parks such as the Villette, its central location with excellent connections to Lucerne and Zurich, important sporting and cultural events, as well as an active club life.

Risch

Thanks to its central location, Risch is an attractive place where one can enjoy both village and city life. Because of its easy access through public transport and excellent educational institutions, it has attracted a variety of both Swiss and international professionals who enjoy living there. Risch’s location between Lake Zug and the the river Reuss allows it to offer a place to relax in nature along with a wide range of local excursions and sporting activities. Low taxes and helpful public authorities make Risch a great place to live.

Unterägeri

Unterägeri lies above Zug by Lake Ägeri and is situated in a magnificent natural setting surrounded by mountains.

Lake Ägeri is very clean and a great place to cool off in on hot summer days. Countless opportunities for those who love the outdoors are available year round – hiking or biking in summer and skiing in winter – make it a popular recreational area for the entire canton of Zug.
